Robert M. Pecha
Prior to joining Fortitude Investment Group LLC, Robert served as a Financial Advisor for MassMutual Investor Services, TD Ameritrade, National Financial Network and AXA Advisors. Throughout his financial career, Robert has engaged in several areas of financial planning. Some of these include pension maximization, life settlement funds, portfolio management, income replacement & retirement planning, estate planning, college planning and life & disability insurances. Today, Robert focuses on offering accredited investors Delaware Statutory Trust investments that qualify for 1031 like-kind exchanges. There are national real estate sponsors that offer fractional ownership DST interests in institutional quality properties across the US for accredited investors to exchange their relinquished properties into. He primarily works with baby boomers who are selling their investment properties. This investment option allows them to defer capital gains taxes, but it also goes a few steps further and most notably helps to free them of the responsibilities and headaches typically associated with managing property. As Robert likes to say, “we offer 1031 solutions to 1031 problems”. Robert was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He attended Monsignor Farrell High School where he graduated with honors and a Congressional Primary Nomination to attend the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. He later graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC with a concentration in International Business. He is multi-lingual, with advanced proficiencies in Czech and Slovak and conversational proficiencies in French and German. Robert currently resides in Staten Island, NY with his wife, Janine.
